MORNING SEMINAR (Option 1) 9:30-11:30am
"Understanding & Complying With The ELD Mandate"
Presented By: Dave Osiecki, President & CEO
Scopelitis Transportation Consulting
Are you and your team ready for the next big regulatory challenge-adopting electronic logging devices and complying with FMCSA's complex ELD rules? The government has set the ELD compliance date for December 2017-which means you and your team have less than a year to learn the rules, research the ELD options, train your drivers and office staff, and outfit your trucks with this technology. The lawsuit is over, and the ELD clock is ticking.
David J. (Dave) Osiecki is the President of Scopelitis Transportation Consulting LLC (STC) and personally delivers the training and advisory service offerings of STC. He has 30-year experience in the transportation industry. Mr. Osiecki has previously been Executive Vice President & Chief of National Advocacy for ATA, and has represented the industry before State legislatures, federal agencies, the U.S. Congress and in the national media, including appearances on national network news programs. Over the last 15 years, Mr. Osiecki has also been a regular speaker and commentator before transportation and trucking industry groups.
MORNING SEMINAR (Option 2): 9:30AM-11:30AM

"No Silver Bullets in Safety"
Presented by: Martin Lesko, Loss Prevention Director
Vanliner Insurance Co.
Do you ever wonder what truly interests the insurance companies when deciding what auto premium to charge you? Are you aware of recent DOT regulations that will impact your safety efforts? Do you wonder what the best carriers are doing to minimize losses?
And finally, are you still looking for the "silver bullet" that will make your safety program top-notch? Well, sadly, there isn't a silver bullet, and even if you are doing everything you can, bad things still happen to good carriers every day. What's the answer? Basic blocking and tackling-the things we'll discuss using Martin's 30+ years' experience in the insurance industry along with his past life experience as an Enforcement Investigator with the MO DOT. He will provide you specifics on what you should be doing to "lessen the probability" of losses from occurring.
"Are You Prepared for an OSHA inspection?"

Vanliner Insurance Co.
